Next week we will kick off the ReTrans Lecture Series on the topic of communication with refugees in situations of flight and arrival.
Over the course of the summer semester, we will invite representatives of various organizations that support refugees in their arrival and also work with interpreters. The lectures or interviews will take place on site at the Centre for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna, digitally or hybrid.
We will start with Yannick Wagner from Train of Hope on April 21 on “Crisis Communication” (9:45-11:15 CEST, Zoom link). The talk is held in German and interpreted in different languages by students from the Centre for Translation Studies.
